ITX Solutions Sales Executive

OVERVIEW

The Solution Sales Executive (SSE) will be responsible for the go-to-market success of Contender’s IT portfolio, among which its Operations Management (IT & Security), Asset Management, Business Management DevOps, and Risk solutions. These solutions are built on market-leading platforms (ServiceNow & Tanium) providing our executive stakeholders and client staff visibility & control when making data-driven decisions across the Business of IT.

As an SSE, you will be responsible for communicating the various value propositions within Contender’s IT Workflow & Optimization portfolio to prospects and ServiceNow field partners. You will develop a strong partnership with your designated ServiceNow Account Executives and Solution Consultant(s) to provide a comprehensive and market strategy & message across all industries within your region. You will focus on targeting your IT Transformation message to specific customer needs and will focus on being a trusted advisor to our community of customers and partners.

 

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, grow, and maintain a region focused on achieving & exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Development of joint sales plans with the field sales team, both internal to Contender and with partner product specialists (ServiceNow and Tanium) for achieving sales targets.
  • Work jointly on all aspects of the sales cycle to secure new IT Workflow customers
    • Capitalize on both new and existing relationships to introduce IT Transformation offerings
    • Business Development activities
    • Executive Calls and Presentations/Demonstrations
    • Demonstrate ROI & POV proposals
    • Negotiation and Closing
  • Maintain sufficient activity levels to achieve sales targets and build appropriate pipelines to achieve quarterly sales targets.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • 7+ years of solution and/or service-based sales experience within an Enterprise Management, Performance Management, CMDB solution provider or related high technology business environment.

    • Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow’s IT Operations and platforms in correlation with application, networking and systems management, and security tools.
    • Candidates will be highly motivated and have extensive experience in successfully selling multi-product solutions.
    • Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing or related discipline preferred.
  • Travel required.

  • Interpersonal: Ability to forge new, strong business relationships
  • Presentation: Customer facing presentations
  • Executive Presence: Proven ability in building and maintaining trusted advisor relationships with executives within the eco-system (including referenceable relationships)
