Account Executive - Southeast

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Contender Solutions is looking for an experienced Account Executive to create and foster strong business relationships in Southeast of the United States. Primary sales focus will be to build a sales pipeline for our ServiceNow Staff Augmentation solutions, licenses and implementation related services. You will assume existing accounts, drive our expansion strategy within the defined territory to develop new relationships and close net new business.

 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITES

  • Lead generation strategies and execution for the Southeast of the U.S.
  • Contact prospective customers leveraging social media, email, and phone to drive net new logos
  • Market research to develop warm and cold leads
  • Identify prospects that fit the target demographic
  • Use product knowledge to showcase the solutions that our company can offer to prospects
  • Use database, CRM, or other software to track progress with new prospects
  • Maintain contact with existing clients to make sure they are satisfied and request referrals
  • Attend networking events (virtual or in-person), community events and hearings to generate leads
  • Attend trainings to stay up to date with the specifications of new products and service offerings
  • Working closely with channel and vendor partners
  • Presenting and negotiating proposals (including RFPs/RFIs) leading to Statements of Work
  • Providing on-going account management to ensure customer satisfaction and upsell
  • Providing regular status and projections against sales activities

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of sales experience in IT Services and/or Staff Augmentation
  • ServiceNow knowledge & experience a plus
  • Experience generating and managing an ongoing sales pipeline / book of business of approximately $5M+
  • Demonstrated ability to present and influence buyers (including C-level executives)
  • Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to forecast current and future business
  • Align capabilities to business drivers within your customer/prospect’s organizations
  • Service Management solutions
  • Prior “Value Selling” or similar framework training
  • Managed Services sales
